INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Empowering Future Therapists and Promoting Accessible Care

At Golden Psychology, we believe that everyone deserves access to high quality mental health care. Our newly launched internship program prioritizes the professional development of therapists-in-training while providing affordable, evidence-based therapy to our community.

Program Overview

Our internship program runs annually from September to May, offering a unique opportunity for aspiring therapists to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment. Our social work trainees offer sliding scale services, with therapy sessions starting at $80 and three-hour Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) sessions starting at $270.

Focus on Professional Growth and Hands-On Experience

Each social work trainee is individually supervised by an experienced, licensed clinician, ensuring comprehensive support throughout the academic year. Trainees receive expert supervision and consultation through weekly individual supervision, group supervision, and didactic trainings. In addition to gaining clinical experience, trainees have the opportunity to participate in our Justice Project and our grant funded research.

If you are a MSW student at Columbia University and are interested in joining our internship program in the 2026-2027 school year, please email birtu@golden-psychology.com for more information on applying!
