Liv Wilson

In my approach to therapy, I center connection and collaboration. I am a careful listener with a genuine interest and curiosity about the human experience. In our work together, I hope to create a space for discovery and expression as we walk together towards the most authentic and integrated version of self. Through openness and non-judgment, I strive to meet everyone where they are with empathy, compassion, and curiosity. My practice consists of CBT and DBT modalities, and when words aren't enough, art therapy exercises provide an alternate mode of expression.

Previously, I have worked with young people facing a variety of challenges, including recent immigration, family conflict, trauma, social anxiety, and depression. As a result of my own lived experiences, I am passionate about providing affirming care to queer and nonbinary folks (and those who aren't sure how they identify just yet). My background in the arts also allows for a greater understanding of the stressors creativity can foster, as well as the joys.

I am currently in the final year of my MSW at Columbia's School of Social Work. Previously, I obtained a degree in History at the College of William & Mary and worked in educational and professional theatre in Washington, D.C. for several years.

I charge $90 for 50 min sessions, $108 for 60 min sessions, and $20 for each additional person in a poly relationship. I charge $275 for 3-hour individual KAP sessions.

I do offer a limited sliding scale; see here for our sliding scale tiers. I currently have tier 1, 2, and 3 slots available.
