Dan Muro
Dan (he/him) is a psychotherapist with a background in education and music. His approach to therapy is trauma-informed and strengths-based. Dan is passionate about working with people from all ages and backgrounds to help identify and develop their emotional resources, resilience, and self-love. His experience in advocacy, adult and child education, and immigrant services influence his understanding of how broader social systems interact with mental health and wellness. Dan is committed to meeting clients where they are at in their life journey in all their complexity. He strives to make sessions a safe and supportive place for clients to express themselves and make connections.
Dan will receive his Master's of Social Work from Columbia School of Social Work and has a Bachelor's Degree in Cultural Anthropology from Wesleyan University.
I provide therapy sessions in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
I charge $90 for 50 min sessions, $108 for 60 min sessions, and $20 for each additional person in a poly relationship. I charge $275 for 3-hour individual KAP sessions.
I do offer a limited sliding scale; see here for our sliding scale tiers. I currently have tier 1, 2, and 3 slots available.
