Adult Day Program
(Starting in September, 2025)
When your adolescent needs increased care or a place to continue care after inpatient, our Day Program Team is ready to support them and your family
What Is a Day Program?
Golden Psychology’s Adult Day Program offers intensive, structured mental health support for all adults who need more than weekly therapy but don’t require 24/7 hospitalization. Designed for adults navigating periods of emotional overwhelm, crisis, or transition, our programs provide a powerful balance of depth and flexibility—allowing you to receive meaningful care while continuing to live at home or in a supportive environment.
Adult clients attend multiple group therapy sessions and receive individual counseling each week. Each client’s schedule is tailored to promote stability, insight, and real progress. Our evidence-based approach uses therapy that works to help you develop tools, understand your patterns, and continue to heal and grow. Most adults engage with the program for several weeks or months, depending on their needs.
Adult Day Program
Golden Psychology’s Adult Day Program offers a supportive and structured environment for adults who need more intensive care than weekly therapy can provide. Whether you’re navigating a mental health crisis, struggling with daily functioning, or seeking deeper healing, our program is designed to help you regain stability, develop meaningful coping strategies, and reconnect with your sense of self—all while maintaining your life at home or in a supportive community setting.
Each participant engages in a personalized care plan that includes core therapeutic sessions such as individual therapy, DBT skills groups, and processing groups. These foundational supports help you manage emotional distress, develop insight, and stay grounded during periods of instability or transition.
In addition to core sessions, our program offers a range of electives that allow for deeper exploration and targeted support, including:
– Executive Functioning (focus, organization, and follow-through)
– Identity Group (affirming space to explore gender, sexuality, and self-concept)
– Trauma (for those healing from difficult past experiences)
– ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy- for treating anxiety and gaining control over your thoughts)
–Boundaries and Healthy Relationships (to help you get what you need out of your relationships)
– CBT-I Sleep (addressing sleep issues using evidence-based strategies)
– Art Therapy (creative approaches to healing and self-expression)
– Substance Use Support
– Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) (for those eligible for this innovative treatment)
Our Adult Day Program offers a pathway from crisis to clarity, with flexible, compassionate care that respects your autonomy and empowers your growth. Whether you’re rebuilding after burnout, managing chronic mental health conditions, or addressing identity-based stress, Golden Psychology is here to help you move forward—on your own terms, with real support.
