Lynzee Medina

As a Latina psychotherapist, my work is rooted in creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported on your path toward healing.

My personal journey has shaped my commitment to providing inclusive, culturally aware, and affirming therapy. I work with those struggling with anxiety, negative-thought patterns, sex and sexuality, intergenerational trauma, family conflict, religious trauma, self-worth, relationships, and life transitions. I am passionate about supporting first-gen individuals, children of immigrants and have a special interest in working with those whose intersecting identities shape the way they experience the world.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in warmth, gentle challenge, and collaborative growth. I offer active listening, honest reflection, and a solution-focused lens to help you access the strength and clarity that already live within you. I tend to utilize modalities such as CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

I received my Master of Social Work from Columbia School of Social Work and my B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University, Northridge.

I charge $250 for 50 min sessions, $300 for 60 min sessions, and $60 for each additional person in a poly relationship. I charge $640 for 3-hour individual KAP sessions.

I do offer a limited sliding scale; for sessions, see here for our sliding scale tiers. I currently have tier 1, 2, and 3 slots available.
