Jasmin Perrier

Jasmin (she/her) is a psychotherapist and Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). She believes that therapy is most effective when it is informed by social justice and liberatory frameworks. Within Jasmin's practice, it is important to critically examine the oppressive systems and patterns of thinking that we are socialized to accept about the self and surrounding world. As a Black, queer woman of Jamaican descent, she aims to create a safe and affirming therapeutic environment in which clients can explore their intersectional identities and multitudes of self.

Jasmin utilizes a strengths-based and client-centered approach while encouraging intentional and sustainable efforts towards change and deeper processing. She believes in maintaining a collaborative space in which clients take on an active role in their healing. Jasmin has experience in supporting clients who struggle with anxiety, panic, depression, PTSD, domestic violence, substance use, and family trauma. She is trained in the following modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy and Motivational Interviewing.

Jasmin received her Master's of Social Work degree from Columbia University's School of Social Work and earned a certificate in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy.
